20 weeks and doing great...

I am 20 weeks this week. We went to the ultrasound doctor this week. Everything is still going great with the boys. They are still growing strong. Morrison is on my left side of my body, aka baby A is 11oz. Dylan is on my right side, aka baby B is 10 oz. They are getting so big already. I can't believe I am over the half way point for twins and for a single birth. We have at the most 18 weeks left. My OB wants to deliver me around 38 weeks. We are hoping to make it that long. My goal is definitely to make it to 38 weeks. However, my first goal is the make it to the 4th of July. I will be 32 weeks then. If we deliver after 32 weeks, we will be at the hospital closest to our house and the one we prefer to deliver at. If we go earlier we will have to deliver at Banner Desert down the freeway about 10 minutes. It is still close, but I like the idea of only being 1 mile from home, vs 10 minutes down the freeway.

I am working still working on their room. Once we have more updates finished I will post pictures of those. I can't wait until my sister comes. She is a organizing queen! I think I do pretty well, but she puts me to shame. I can't wait. She is coming out in June, along with two of my college roomies... Jamie and Kristen.

Here are some updates pictures of the boys. I forgot, Friday, Josh felt them moving around in my belly. I am finally able to feel them too. The ultrasound tech side that is probably because they are surrounded nicely with lots of fluid right now.

Here are some updates pictures of the boys.

This is the best you are going to get.

Trip to Venice Beach...

What a great weekend. Just what Josh and I needed. We took a rode trip this past week to Venice. We stayed with our great friend Wendy. I love it there. We had no plans and still had a great time. I have lots of pictures from the trip.

The Spirit of Venice Beach.

After visiting the beach we went over to a bar to watch the Butler game. We think Josh was a in heaven.

That was just what I could get in the picture. There were tons behind me too. I would not be surprised if there were over 60 TVs in this little bar and restaurant.

The California Roomie, Wendy and I.

After dinner we went back to over to a house the Wendy was house sitting for. It was beautiful. It was in the Palisades, I think she said the name of the area was.  Just north of Santa Monica and south of Malibu. It was a looked like a home out of a catalog. I think it was a 5 bedroom/ 5.5 baths. While we were there, we went swimming in the pool. Which was awesome because it was heated. Our pool is only 65 last time I checked so it still has some time before we can go in it. Not too worried because it is always nice in the summer when it is extremely hot outside.

Then we went back to my favorite place at Wendy's, her office/ studio. She has the garage set up just for her work. It is great. We can just sit in there with door open and chill. It is perfect. We would have slept out there if it wasn't for me that has to go pee at least 2 times a night. However, Wendy said if she is still living there next year we can bring the boys back to visit. We joked how we would camp out there with them and not bug her roommates.

Sunday morning Wendy decided since it was sunny out we would drive up the coast and have breakfast on the beach. It was perfect. We didn't want to come home of coarse.

The parents to be. 18 weeks in Malibu.  April 3rd

While we were out there, we found our insperation for the boys room. I was always against themes. I didn't really care to get matchy matchy bedding set. I wanted it to be some cool pieces pulled together and personalized. Well we are still going to do this, but now we have a theme because of these two pieces we picked up.
